Orientation of the MUN Club

The Model United Nations (MUN) club's orientation for 45 members began with a brief introduction, outlining the club's objectives. The highlight was an engaging activity where students, divided into teams representing different countries, researched and presented key facts. Teams were then tested on their knowledge by peers. This hands-on approach not only introduced members to diplomatic skills but also fostered collaboration, critical thinking, and effective communication, setting the stage for an intellectually stimulating MUN experience.
Rules of Procedure
The Rules of Procedure session was more of a theoretical one. It involved a detailed explanation of various rules and motions / procedures in an actual MUN event, A detailed presentation about the same was prepared and shared with the students. The session was followed by an activity where students were divided into teams and each team was assigned to a different country. The team had to research about the foreign policies and relations with neighboring countries. Later each team was called onto the stage and were tested by the other teams in a fun trivia round.
Treasure Hunt
A treasure hunt event was conducted for all the MUN club members. In this event, 7 teams participated and there were around 6 rounds of clues hidden all around the college campus with the help of the PR team and OC team. With MUN related clues and puzzles that made them run around the entire college campus, This event was a great way to bond, meet new people and put their minds to test!
